Aquila Group’s Whistleblowing System

In line with Aquila Group’s culture of transparency and trust, we have implemented a Whistleblowing system where you may report any type of misconduct in our business anonymously.

The Whistleblowing system covers Aquila Clean Energy APAC’s global footprint and is available to our employees as well as third parties worldwide, at any time. By reporting suspicious and/or illicit activities, you can help identify and prevent organisational misconduct or malfeasance, helping protect our business and strengthen our company’s corporate governance.

Our whistleblowing system is facilitated by the German legal advisory firm, BDO Legal Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (“BDO”), with the following channels available for reporting concerns:

All complaints and reports will be reviewed by the BDO ombudsperson. The ombudsperson will inform the Aquila Group Compliance department about the report, its contents, if it is relevant and if it requires further investigation for resolution. The whistleblower’s anonymity will be upheld throughout this process, and your identity will only be disclosed if you have given a prior consent.

All complaints are treated confidentially to ensure whistleblowers are protected. However, please be informed that if the whistleblowing system is deliberately abused to report unjustified, unsubstantiated claims, your complaints could be subject to further verification or investigation.
